@BianchiGirl I am bout to buy this bicycle for 100$. Is it a real Bianchi or a fake one?
I can not post a picture yet because I am new to the forum! How do I get around this?

Bianchi sold a full line of bikes, from basic to outstanding.
I had a bottom end one, bought at Goodwill for $15, realized it had no redeeming qualities, so I resold it. cheap. Buyer thought he got a smoking hot deal as it was immediately reposted on C/L for $500. I watched it slowly drop in price, over more than a year. Last ad I saw was priced at $100.
People fake stuff to get big $$. At the $100 price point, I don't see the need for a fake. But it could easily be just like the one I paid $15 for. Knowing how to tell the difference from a low end bike versus something special, regardless of brand, is a key skill. I am agnostic on brand. Instead, I just look for good stuff.

I am pretty sure you are in for a real education. I would suggest to first get a good idea of what you have. Use the diagram to find out all the components, brand, type, make, and then get an idea of what they are worth. Often a bike is worth more parted out if you are just looking at the money. For me it's not really the monetary value of the bike but it's ride that I am interested in...

I doubt it’s a fake or at least an intentional one. Any pics? There is a way to upload them to your album so we came view them. Also tell us about the bike. Does it have a decal saying what tubing it is? What brand and model names are on the components? 27” wheels?

Brake cable stop on top tube look unusual for Bianchi. A picture from the other side would be helpful. Bike looks okay for $100. Stem is too high

Looks like a low end model. Are you thinking someone painted and stickered an old bike, reinstalled worn parts and now is trying to make a hundred bucks on it? It needs some love, but $100 is fair.

FWIW: I once sold a Bianchi for $100. It was a lot older, a different color of sea-foam, & had different decals/graphics. It said "Campionč del Mundo" or some such on the water slide head badge.
It rode like crap, the paint was terrible, & I needed the space for something else.
If a bike rides nice, any bike is worth at least $100. Take the chance. Buy it, real Bianchi or not. $100 is pretty low stakes these days.

What about this one for 100$? Which one is better?
