Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Clever Training had (has?) a 30% off promo code, so I finally got on the smart trainer bandwagon - Elite Suito for a hair over $600.

edit: although mine is technically the Suito T, which doesn't include the cassette.

Enjoy! Is Clever Training shutting down? I see their homepage has an "everything must go" lead-in. Rare opportunity to get Speedplays on a discount :-)

Ravemen PR1200

Practically the first thing I did after getting it was to drop it from handlebar height onto the pavement. Told myself it was to check impact resistance. Fortunately it passed. As for the light, all I can say is, where have you been all my life.

Some Dynaplug pointy replacement plugs, only had two, and I used one today, and a set of Pirelli P Zero Race TLR in 30mm for a second set of wheels.
