1981 Specialized Allez Road bike
Hi
I have a 1981 Specializes Allez Road bike. 56k1 frame. Special Series Racing. 100% Campagnolo. Nuevo Record group set. Tim Neenan design. Purchased from Volemeister’s bike shop in Los Gatos, Ca. Stamped #0088 of first 100 hand built. This bike is in immaculate condition. Hardly ridden and in storage for over 30 years. Could someone tell me what the value of this bike might be for a collector or someone looking for this particular bike?

I sold an '81 ... the real deal with "Allez" on the top of the seat stay caps, offset fork crown, etc. ....in the spring of 2017. See pics below. Size was 54. Original paint and decals were near perfect with the exception of a light scratch on the right side of the top tube...see last pic. Campy Record/Super Record from stem to stern with the exception of the Shimano 600 brake levers....ugly buggers installed by a prior owner. Mavic clinchers. Sale price was $1200 + $125 for professional packing and BikeFlights. This was an eBay sale via BIN or Best Offer. I recall asking on the order of $1300 and $1200 was my best offer after some 'haggling. I perceive the market to be softer now, but these bikes don't become available very often. 'Hope this is helpful.

Very nice looking bike with some nice looking campy hanging on it.
From the pictures, it is hard to tell if the fork crown is off-set like the one pictured below your post....I wouldn't get my hopes up unless yours has the offset (Konno, 3R).
These bikes even without the offset are desirable...kind of a cult following and yours appears very clean....to the right person 400-500, if offset on the fork maybe 800-1000+.
it depends on how much someone wants it and how long you are willing to wait for the right buyer.
Best, Ben
