Maine - The way life shouldn't be

HEY!

I have only seen Maine by:
ATV, horseback, car, and hiking

What is here for cycle trails?

Born, raised, live here. ... just never been a true Mainer. BUT, since I am stuck here for the time being.
Help a girl out and point me to some trails! I live in stonington. But, can travel for trails.
preferably trails with ON leash dogs.

There's part of the East Coast Greenway SW of Portland. Another trail runs south from Dover-Foxcroft to Newport. The Downeast Sunrise trail runs from Ellsworth to Eastport (almost)' that's 85 miles or so. Then there's dozens of miles of carriage trails in Acadia Nat'l Park, that's exceptional.

So, the only trails are the multi-use trails? Wow, another great reason to move, more 'just' bike trails.

I have done the ENTIRE Downeast sunrise trail on my ATV. so, I know that ultra boring trail well

done the Newport trail too . . on ATV. When it used to run from Newport to Greenville. great trail!

thanks!!
