Even if there was a "low profile" tire, it would not be wise to use one because of snake bite flats.

So six month revival by OP. I switched to Corsa Controls 25c which measure about 2/3 mm below the front fork. While I like the tire, they're a little too puncture prone for everyday riding. I've put about 400-500 miles on them and while I've had no rubbing, I've endured 4 flats within that time. In regards to the Mavic recommendation, I emailed Mavic twice and never received a reply. The manual and "sticker" on the wheels says verbatim, "Use 25-32 Inner tube Only."
The internal width is 17mm of the rims. They recommend 25m, tires but who knows seeing how close some 23/24/25's actually measure. I tried Pirelli Velos in 25mm and they rubbed the top like crazy. I've ordered a 25c Gp5000 after reading that they fit more true to size than the 4000s. I may have to jump to a 23m front, but wonder how would a 25/32 tube fit in a 23 front? Am I over thinking this?
Over this. Damn clearance issues.

Grand Fondo did a review of the six best tires in its opinion and the Velos were the only ones that were true to size. World Class Cycles in Maine has them but the Masters are out of stock in 25, the tan wall is the only difference.
They are super supple like slippers for your bike, but they are fast too.

It is best to order directly from the company and they ship express DHL. There is no sales tax. The tan wall ones are really sharp.

They are definitely approved for carbon wheels. Two iterations ago they were not. They are cotton casing, very high TPI count. I was surprised at how durable they turned out to be even in the summer.

so on the way home tonight I stopped and picked up a 25m GP5000. Figured if it didn’t work I’d just eBay it and return the one I ordered. Well I can finally tell you my search is over. Almost DOUBLE the clearance from the Corsa. Insane how different these tires are sized. I had 4000s which ballooned like crazy and rubbed the fork paint.
Thrilled that I finally have a good 25mm tire. Hopefully the puncture problems stay down at bay now. consider this thread closed.

Is that just with the GP 5000's or does that apply to the GP4000? I just recently got some GP5000s in 700x25 and they are going on 19i/25o rim. I have the next two days off so I might play around and come back with some numbers.

These were GP5000 tube type tires. The 25mm were also GP5000 tube tires.
