Current Value of the Raleigh Portage Size XL
I have this very large frame Raleigh Portage, previous owner was 6'5". It was stored in a basement workshop area and covered with sawdust and other dirt. All I've done so far is spray with water and wipe down, I have the seatpost, but no seat. It appears to have all of the original components. The paint is respectable but far from perfect. I see no dents or rust. Are these Raleigh Portage in demand? I realize the frame size is limiting, but what would they sell for in your region?

I’m still recovering from my inexplicable obsession with the one linked below. I’ll toss out $350 for the Bill Cartwright model pictured above. Someone is bound to come by and double this.

$350 sounds like a solid number, provided it's clean, nothing is stuck, and it's complete. That size needs to find the right owner. I liked the one I had, but it was redundant and was moved to a new home.

Nice bike I would think $300-350 the extra large size with 650B wheels does limit the number of buyers. Yet that one buyer who wants a XL light touring bike with 650 would likely pay $400-500 but would be hard to find.
