Two Day GAP Tour: Pittsburgh PA to Cumberland MD

My bike and I took Amtrak from Washington DC to Pittsburgh PA, then my bike took me to Cumberland MD over 2 days. Then, my wife took the bike and me to Deep Creek Lake for a wet but fun weekend with a number of short hikes.

145 miles in 2 days on the GAP is hauling. Glad you had a good time.

Yeah, this wasn't a stop and smell the mountain laurels kind of tour! I would have done it in 3 days but there were no bike slots available on Amtrak on Tuesday, so had to leave on Wednesday.
