Where can I buy bikes like this! EBay sucks when it comes to bikes like these and Indiana is not what one would call a "Bike-Friendly State!" There are places, but the communities are too young to have such magnificent machines! And I'm only 38! I'm new to the forum and hope to investigate, but still!

Welcome to the forum.
My 1949 Viscontia (page 4) came from ebay. The father brought it from Italy when he emigrated in the mid/late 60s. The son put on ebay a few times with no interest, except from me. He was asking way too much, I made an offer (also too much imo, but I liked the bike), he refused. 6 months later, he offered me the bike at the price I suggested.

My Claud Butler frame (post no 96 above: https://www.bikeforums.net/showpost.php?p=17855055&postcount=96) was an eBay purchase. Seller didn't know what it was (and he knew it, which is good), paint was unappealing, and so on. It took me a while to figure out what it was! But it's excellent. Just rode it 65 miles this morning.
Good luck!

But seriously, what's a CB international, and how's it compare to an Olympic Sprint? I see it has chrome stays and forks.... looks like a very nice bike.

Ayuh. But alas there's always gonna be a guy who crashes the party with a track-bike-shaped-object and pretends he has a bona fide invitation, and acts like he has a clue. Yeah, we'll, I'm that guy. and I rode that bike 64 miles or so today, over 3000 feet of climbing, and... yeah, you're right, it's not a real track bike, only looks like one.

Still don't have any proper track bikes, but I'll sneak in another neo-retro path racer-inspired machine---a 2005 Mercian Vincitore. Barely a decade old, but aside from the extended head tube lug, it's basically no different from any Vincitore you could have ordered from Mercian in the '70s and '80s. It's one of my only French-fit bikes, definitely not the proportions you'd see on the track. Modern build that's been through a couple permutations.

Not "vintage" per se' , but classic -- my old Waterford - i got it in '00 and it had been sitting on the wall at Texas Racing Works for about a year. So 22-23 years old now? But it was outfitted in a traditional manner - so could have been made anywhere from the mid-late 80's up to the early '00s
Last used it when the Superdrome shut down in early 2018
