Mavic Ellipse chainline&Cog

Hi, I currently have Phil hubs laced to Velocity Deep Vs. I was thinking about trading them for Mavic Ellipses.
Would I have issues with the chain since I have Omniums?
Also what kind of cog would I need to get for them?
Basically, should I trade my Phils for the Ellipses?

On my Ellipses I screw the cog on backwards to get the correct chainline. This works with a 16t or larger cog but anything much smaller you will probably have chain/spoke clearance problems.

I've been running an 18T SCRODCOG, on the normal way, with a Mavic lockring, no spacers, with no issues for around a month or more now.
