1974 Schwinn Paramount P15
ok, I just acquired what I believe to be a very original 1974 Schwinn Paramount P15. It was somewhat local to me, I had business in the area to pick it up and I knew the Paramount is the holy grail for Schwinn road bikes and I really like collecting Schwinns - but other than as a show piece, its not really speaking to me - so offering it here to see if any of you all would like to take it on. . I will sell for $800 + actual shipping to a Bikeforum member. I will pack it with pipe insulation, etc and take great care or you can pick it up at my house for what I paid which was $690. Its a great bike, but my interests are more in the '80's and I already have several touring bikes and I just bought two more with a really nice Voyageur and Le Tour Luxe so something has to give and this just isn't making my top ten. The bike is very original, but it needs to be overhauled, tuned, up, etc. the spokes are rusty, I havent done anything to it. I was going to have a bike shop rebuild it, but changed my mind and offering it here. I can take more detailed pics if you are serious. Thank you

Very nice, and nicely appointed, bicycle. Also a kind/generous seller. I'm out of the running due to lack of funds, overabundance of nice vintage frames in black, and a very tatty '66 Paramount that should get a respray before I bring in another Paramount. But I thought I might ask a couple of hopefully helpful questions for other folks who might be thinking about this----and they should be.
What's the center-center measurement on the seat tube? I'm having a little trouble figuring that out from the measuring tape photo. Is it right at 25"?
Are the wheels 27" or 700c? I'm guessing 27", but not sure.
GLWS!

Very cool. I like your generous approach. Hope to pass along good finds myself.
