Shimano 600 brake levers question

I'm trying to figure out the Shimano 600 brake levers on my 86 Panasonic DX 5000.The calipers are 6207 but I can't find a # on the levers.
I just see Shimano 600 stamped on them .They are aero levers but according to Velo 6207 levers are non aero. The 6209 aero levers on my 87 Ironman are different than the ones on
86 Panasonic.

robertj298 are those the AX version of the 600/Dura Ace levers (which were the first aero ones made Shimano)? I have the DA AX. Finding hoods is hard and expensive. I tried my hand at making my own from thick goat's leather.

Completed leather hood for DA AX

Bare DA AX lever with leather hood in progress

Original hoods on AX levers

They look similar to the 6300 AX levers without the crown on top or the AX on lever. Maybe some type of prototype/production change.

^^^^ Levers will not work properly without the suit depicted in the eBay listing.

I'm sure I'm not the only one that likes aero levers because the cabling is tidier, rather than thinking it'll make my fat arse any faster.

Yup definitely the 600AX, have the same and have been looking for hoods for quite a long time now.

My initial motivation to get aero brake levers BITD was to avoid snagging the cables as I move the bike in / out of my 1980 Dodge Omni 024 hatchback.
