Serial number on a vintage Schwinn

I was curious if anybody could help me, I have a Schwinn that looks old. As far as how it looks it looks like 1953 but it doesn't look that old physically.

I've looked on all kinds of sites trying to look up the serial number which starts with T. It is purple and says cruiser on the chain guard which is thin comparatively to the rest of them. It doesn't have any guards on either tire, it's purple, and the frame that goes from the forks to the seat is two bars that kind of sway and make an S but there's two crossbars in between. When I think I'm getting close to the year the only thing I can find only has one crossbar.

Can anybody shed some light on what year this might be?

Pictures are the key. You are too new to post pictures directly in the thread. You need 10 posts. Do two things.

1. Reply to some posts here on BikeForums. This thread is pretty neat to check out Artsy photos of your bike - thread . Or go to Foo. There are some fun, non-cycling stuff there and you could just reply that you like something or post your favorite beverage, or funny picture that made you say Dahell??!!. This one is always good to check out: Funny or Interesting gifs You can reply as much as you would like, but for the goal of posting a picture, you get 5 per day toward that goal. So, two good days and you can post directly.

1. And post the pictures of your Schwinn to your personal gallery on BikeForums. Someone may be able to move them here, in this thread for us to see.

We're going to need more than that to go on. With the right info an ID is rather simple. Until you can put some photos in your gallery. Let's start with the head badge located on the head tube. Is it a round red circle and does it say Schwinn Quality? Or is it a white oval that says Schwinn? What is the full serial number and exactly where is it located? (Head tube, bottom bracket, or left rear drop out). A few pics would go a long way.
