Piece of cake!
Step 1: start your turn early and sharp.
step 2: wedge the bollard under the frame
Step 3: lose road contact in that side, resulting in complete loss of traction as the differential throws all the torque to the wheels with the least resistance.
If the bollard was modern, the vehicle would have a crushed left side door to the center pillar instead.

Rising bollard I could understand
Somehow he/she has managed to lift the car up about 2 feet and park it on top of a fixed bollard.

I will add that I once rode a bike directly into a bollard while squinting at a trailside sign. Luckily, I was hurt in pride only.

Took my Legnano Condorino out for a quick spin to see if all was well. It was brilliant! Shifts well, stops marginally (needs Kool Stops) and the seat needed a slight adjustment. I saw landscape guys doing their thing, my allergies went into overdrive, I went home. So much for seeing stuff. 🤧

Pictures from N.Y. 5 Borough
Statue of Liberty, Freedom Tower. Just some of what I saw on the May 1st 5 Borough Tour. I grew up in Brooklyn, later Long Island, now live in N.C. so it was a real thrill on those roads!

The photo was taken last December, hence the Christmas themed sprinkles.
Steve in Peoria, where the bakery is located in a former bicycle factory.

Came across Nuffield Man today. Nuffield was William Morris' tractor brand.

Pretty sure there's a dead guy in here.... Spotted roadside in Falmouth, Maine. Or maybe I've just been reading too much Steven King.

I've no idea what this is, very cute though.
Wondering what the pedal at the back is for since there's no way of putting a foot on it while seated.

My brother lives pretty close to there. Road/Avenue grid system in Madera County makes directions unnecessary.

Sandy Creek Covered Bridge, a scenic stop on Sunday's ride near High Ridge, Missouri (south edge of St. Louis).
The route was recommended to me by the folks at Billy Goat Cycles on Manchester road, which is much appreciated!
I've got a RideWithGPS route created if anyone is interested.
Steve, back in Peoria
