Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Hey physicians datlas and MoAlpha. What would explain a sudden breakout in hives all over one’s body?

It started after dinner last night on my neck and chest, Benadryl helps, it’s also on my legs and stomach and wrists now. The neck and chest comes and goes. I haven’t changed detergent, soap, or shampoo. It makes no sense.

It’s cold and wet out. Will try to do some fake miles in the basement.

Allergic reaction but figuring out specific cause is a challenge. If no lip/throat/tongue swelling, stick with Benadryl or Allegra if Benadryl too sedating.

Anything new or unusual in last night’s dinner?

Thanks. It’s driving me crazy!

I think it’s something I ate last night because it happened right after I got home from dinner. I’m guessing I may suddenly be allergic to either eggplant, veal or certain mushrooms.

Attention coffee lovers. I'm thinking about getting a pour over device for when I only want a cup. It could happen today. Already consulted @WhyFi's English guru.

As I’m contemplating going to ride out today while it’s snowing, I find myself wishing I had a one bike solution for road and gravel so I didn’t have to move a bunch of crap between bikes.

I’m considering an Aspero again w/ 2 sets of wheels and selling both the R3 and the Revolt. That should net me about 6k for something new.

Am I nuts?

I don’t get it. You’ll still be moving stuff between bikes - in the form of two wheels. In my mind, that’s a bigger PITA than moving a saddle bag and computer. I’d just get a second saddle bag and set of lights. They’re not that expensive.

And pedals. It also solves some storage issues we’ve got in the garage and I’d really like to have disc rather than rim on my primary bike. I guess I could just get a Caledonia… I wish they sold the non-5 as a frameset

Pedals are pretty cheap as well (unless PM), so I’d just buy a second set. But, I get wanting the newer gear. Guilty of that myself from time to time. Make that all the time.

ive been noticing that used bikes are taking longer to sell around here. Bubble may be slowing down.

After a week of Spring weather, it's finally cold and snowy.

We'll probably only get a couple of inches.

No lake enhancement? I haven’t checked with my dad to see how much they have in Watertown.

Personally, if I were to replace my Crux and Allez with one bike, it would be the Litespeed Watia.
