I guess it's up to me to uphold the honor and all that.

Yes, the ride will happen on Saturday, 10 AM at the rock wall, Canada and Edgewood. Route is the same as always, there should be a link in the first couple pages if you want a cue sheet.

As always, all bikes welcome, C&V bikes preferred!

True that. Blue loctite plus tightening the DS cup it until it screams for mercy, and then tightening it a little bit more.

If I was there , I'd be a joinin' ya! And fortunately when I built my Colnago up after paint I had some help from a BF and CR list member about how to properly torque the Phil BB after setting the chain line so I did not have the problem. It involved a torque wrench and a brass hammer! LOL

Last night I discovered they'd repaved the worst part of Manzanita, from the Sand Hill end, so it should be a lot more comfy! Maybe I'll bring the Cannondale I call "Jackhammer"......

Bringing the Allegro. Since I’m driving in, is there a good place to park?

TONS of parking on Canada Road at Edgewood. Turn left at the Stop sign at the end of Edgewood and start looking for a spot.

I recognize at least one in the photos . It looks like it was a nice day. Nice to see the classics out and about! I was there in spirit as I pedaled through 40 miles of 85f heat down here.

Ridin the ItalVega today while I wait for new tires for the Colnago

Thanks for the great time, everyone. I had a lot of fun, even if I was the "tail-gun Charlie" every time the uphill gradient was more than about 1.5%.
