Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Don't you know that arguing with conviction is better, no matter the facts? It's 2021.

Coached by a former Tennessee assistant. Gotta bring your A game if you want to win in Johnson City.

Fun Fact: ETSU disbanded football from 2003 - 2015.

Now that LAJ has his lawn set (presumably, I've seen no pic), it's time for him to set his sights on fixing up the house.

For a snack I prepared my own interpretation of DougRNS 's favorite lunch:

A couple of pickle spears and a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.

So the zwift thing happened again tonight. We do the group ride thing so "we all stay together". Last couple times I've been ok. Felt normal. Like a regular ride. Tonight. I was killing myself trying to stay with the group, let alone the front. So after blowing my guts out for 30 minutes I exited the meet up and rode solo. When I came back in I was 32 seconds behind. I finished the hour 40 or so seconds ahead. No problem making power. So I don't understand wtf is going on. Why is a group ride making it so difficult for me? I literally can't make enough power to stay on the front. It shows approx 4wpk but Im maxed out? There is a voice in my head screaming that there is Tomfoolery going on.

Cold and snow here the last two days. Mostly nuisance snow, though, not enough for play.
