I’m partial to ritchey carbon bars. I have the flat Superlogic WCS carbon bars with the same WCS carbon seatpost. I cut my bars down a bit so they are nice and compact, a bit wider than shoulder width.
I've heard the LightSkin lights are pretty nice, I had planned on swapping the bars too but am also going to wait and see. Going with some iSSi Flip pedals and Ergon GP4 grips though (I have fairly big hands and like the feel of the GP4s over the smaller ones).
What carbon bars were you guys looking at??

I hadn't really started that search yet. I looked at some options but wanted to wait to see what the stock bars are like with the LightSkin integrated and then do some serious looking later if I decided to change. Pedals were a priority for me just because the bike comes without any and I liked the feel of the iSSi Flip IIIs.
Alternatively, I do have a gold set of Chromag Fubars (aluminum) I was toying with the idea of trying out for a fun cosmetic look. I got the pedals in gold for fun to match the black/gold Cobb Randee I'm putting on it. I'd have to cut them down a bunch though, the 800mm stock width on the Fubars is just way too much for this bike and I'm not sure what the rise would be like so it's just a random silly idea at this point.

Looks like Mike's Bikes up in the Bay Area got the 01 One in L and XL (the L is showing out of stock but they had one listed yesterday, right now they just show an XL in stock). Hoping that means other shops will be getting them soon too. My LBS is closed today but I'll probably check in with them tomorrow to see if they have any updates for me.

Still not available. Has anyone purchased a 2021 model of any spec?

No word here yet either. I've seen a handful of shops that showed them in stock on their website but they were never there more than a day. I'm completely bikeless at the moment so I've been toying with the idea of building myself a single speed for now until the AC comes in.

LBS told me today they're not expecting to see a L 01 One until January now. I've seen a few shops that are showing the S in stock in Europe but nothing else since Mike's Bikes had some listed in stock. LBS said that BMC is pushing the AMP hard right now and they can get those in any size.

Dubious
Pre ordering is highly dubious from a BMC dealer in the States! They can pre order whatever but getting it is a whole other matter! BMC is poorly run!

I ended up changing my mind. I really like the Alpenchallenge but I test rode and fell in love with the BMC Teammachine so I picked up a 2021 Teammachine SLR Three Ultegra today. Very different bike from what I'm used to but it is such a joy to ride so far.

Looks like BikeAttack in Playa Vista/Santa Monica is showing the M and L 01 One in stock now. Even though I gave up on the AC I've still been looking to see when they come in stock, trying hard not to N+1 it!

Rides beautifully!! I changed the saddle, seatpost, handlebars, grips, added my own pedals and lights.
This model came with the integrated LED lighting in both the handlebars and the seatpost, both very nice and bright. I just swear that carbon posts and bars do a lot to eliminate road buzz on a non carbon frame. I could be wrong but they feel very different to me.

Sadly, my local BMC dealer -named The Local Bike Shop, by the by, closed last year and I'll be looking for another shop to work on my Fourstroke. Enjoy your ACs and support your LBS!
