Not mine, but took this out for a spin while I was getting my car serviced today (I crossed over to the dark-side during lockdown). A good old fashioned 90s MTB (that might actually be early 2000s) - a Giant ATX 870. The Deore drivetrain is actually still in pretty good condition. While it was at one point strictly a MTB, its probably closer to a hybrid by today's standards...

Litespeed Cherohala City (Hybrid/Gravel)

Hybrid bikes are what got me back into cycling and eventually into road cycling. I bought this bike last year for commuting around town or doing gravel trails when I don't feel like spamdexing up and constantly clipping into my race bikes. Awesome bike. I just took into Old Croton Aqueduct Trail (NY) and then over the Cuomo Bridge and had an absolute blast

Not an expert, but looks like a crack and not a scratch. I would have a shop take a look at it asap

I really like that colour, but now I am craving a cup of coffee.

I took a ride on my Sirrus 3.0 through the Weekiwachee preserve on the west-central Florida coast. I love this place!
After 2,500 miles on the Sirrus I had to replace the chain and now am looking for new tires as the OEM tires are worn down. I'm going with wider tires for better traction in this type environment. I ride 50-50 here or on paved MUP's so need to find tires that grip off road but roll smoothly on pavement. I found that letting some air out of the tires when riding on the rough limestone trails through the preserve made a world of difference comfort wise (but not too much - to avoid pinch flats). But there are patches of sand and 32mm tires aren't the best for that environment. I put the air back in when riding MUP's/rail to trails.

schwinn gs 28 ss

my extra small schwinn gs 28. i've rode 54-56 cm bikes my whole adult life. but over the last few yrs have found it more difficult to mount and dismount that size, so instead of stopping biking, i decided to get a small frame to more easily mount the bike. found this on cl, 16.5 inch frame, found it very easy to mount, but the cockpit was a bit short so i had to adapt it for me. hence stem extenders, adjustable stem and wald 867 bars. now instead of seeing pavement as i ride, i see nature. love the change, and it keeps me on the bike.

i know it looks dorky, but thats ok. at 64 i dont' care.

Thought this was a pretty neat pic of one of our LiteSpeed Cheerohala City bikes at the "cut". Unfortunately the bike ferry isn't running this week due to a breakdown so we couldn't continue to the island. Anybody recognize where we are?

My day started with my keyboard crashed. So my quest for a new one ended up at "Moyers Electronics" in Sunbury PA. They've been there before even my HS days and, even then, outshined all other businesses (including "Radio Shack"...). New keyboard strapped on and 10 lbs. of birdseed, I celebrated with the "path less traveled" home...

Just picked up this Giant FastRoad SLR. Creeping up on 70 I decided that I’d like to find a nice used highbred to complement my road bike. Didn’t really want a black bike but I like the bright graphics. The previous owner did a few little upgrades such as a little better climbing gear in the back, 32s over the original 28 tires and an upgraded saddle. He only rode a few times and then it sat in his basement forever. Been out twice. Yesterday I did 26 miles and I’m pretty happy so far. Getting used to a slightly different riding stance.
