I can get a set of crabon bars that are otherwise the same as the current metal bars on my Domane for just a wee bit more than half price. Worthwhile upgrade? Would knock of 134 grams not to mention make my bike more crabonny.

Well this is going to sound silly, but I can’t tell if the play is the arm or pedal shaking. I noticed something felt different when riding this morning and it was only on the right side. Just checked again to be sure.
Pedals could have anywhere from 14000 to 30000 miles on them for all I know.

Which did you get? I was rather fond of their VR-CF drops. If I could have found some aero handlebars at a decent price, I would have jumped at them. As it was, I got some more conventional, but quite light, VR-CF carbon bars for $60 on CL. Couldn't pass that up.

At one time, I was considering the aero bar they make: Bontrager XXX Aero Handlebar | Trek Bikes. But, talking to the guy at the shop about all that would need to be done to replace cables and hoses, labor, etc., it was coming to close to $600 for that change. That was a bit more than I wanted to spend on something like that. Maybe if and when I ever become an "elite" rider.
This change I can do myself for less than $250 when I add in the tape. According to the Trek site, I'll be going from 310 grams to 176 grams.

Today is my day off, but it's raining on and off and is supposed to continue to do so all day. 
I still might try and squeeze out for a quickie if it looks like I can find a window of an hour or so without rain.
Side note: got the oil changed in the VW today, so I guess this was a good day for it, in that regard.

Yup, should be an easy swap. They will feel just a little different, too - I like carbon bars.

I like the internal routing a lot. Probably the one thing that put me off on it was that I was talking to the guy about making the switch at the time I was getting my wheel fixed and a new fork installed. When you added the aero bars and labor onto the other, it was getting over $1k. That would be hard to justify to the wife. She's usually pretty accommodating, until she's not.

The hydro really isn't too tough, either: a bleed kit (inexpensive and readily available) and something to cut the lines cleanly without crimping them too much.
After you've got the above, you only need a little common sense and the willingness to deal with some minor frustration.

For the Cervelo, use carbon assembly grease/paste with grit in it.
For the Ritchey, I'll defer to the others, but I think that whatever grease you've got on hand will be fine - Phil's, Finish Line, Park, whatever.

Referencing the ritchey, currently all I have is a tub of this penzoil bearing grease. Didn’t know if it would hurt to use it, I have keep the connections on the frame lubed to prevent rust. If the grease I have isn’t recommended then I’ll go get some.

I like the White Lightning Crystal grease. It's clear, doesn't stain, and really holds up well.
