Rather than go through the whole thing, I'll respond to what I can remember. I'm 64 years old, and all of the bikes in my signature get ridden. I slowed down, emphatically, between the ages of 58-60. Now I seem to be holding my own. I ride 15 miles daily, usually in the morning, and up to 70 miles on Sunday, in the winter months. Summers it's just too hot to be out for more than a few hours at a time. I tend to ride after dark in the heat of the Springtime, before the rain returns in June. The mountain bike is my around town bike.
I do a Foundation Training workout, almost daily, before the bike ride. My knees have been bothering me the past month or so, so I've slacked off on that in favor of the bike. Always the bike. I learned to ride at about 7, I would guess. I was off the bike through a good part of the early 80s, when I lived on a farm on a gravel road, and mountain bikes hadn't yet come on the scene.
I rode the '81, and '01 TOSRV, and am thinking about doing it in '21, for the trifecta.

36 miles Wednesday night. Started out at 40F and felt comfortable with the right layers and a thin windbreaker. Faster group ride than I'm accustomed to but hung in there... just barely. Temp dropped rapidly toward midnight.

Apparently a good way to stay warm in sub-freezing weather is to wolf down a footlong meatball sub, a pint of imperial milk stout, a pint of coffee and three cookies, then jump on the bike without digesting. The stomach cramps completely took my mind off the 27F wind chill and 25 mph gusts blowing me backward.

Uggghhh... I have just recently joined the 60+ group...
I've been doing more biking and less running the last couple years. I got a 2016 Trek 7.3 FX for my birthday so I could go a bit faster/further than I could with my 2005 Trek Navigator 100.
Just got back from a ride today. Temp around 45F, so that was okay, but wind was ~15mph with gusts.
I did 12.25 miles in 55:47. Average 13.2mph with 1014' elevation gain.
My new bike really makes it easier to do the hills around here.

On cold wet/icy winter days, i do not wish to stray far afield.
So out comes the GFisher, the ride from the doorstep is hill repeats of 1.5mi w/ 580' vertical.
Even with salt and sand in places, there was an icy patch i hit on the 2nd descent, which Freaked Me - so only 2 climbs today.
Bike is just recently back to original stem bars shifters but needs a bit more work/adjusting and an overhaul come Spring.

Only 22 miles today, the frost has now gone but the rain is here so it's not a nice environment to cycle in.
The winter is already taking its toll on the roads with pothole and broken surfaces everywhere.

No ride Wednesday (too cold-25°-late snow) nor Thursday (snow) but today was surprisingly warm (50°).
20.4 miles, and I overdressed so I got a little warm, but a mostly sunny ride, even if there was a 12mph headwind going home.
My friends at the Senior Center threw a mini birthday party (tomorrow I'll be 21 - uh, with 50 years experience) so there was cake and ice cream. Just what I need after having ballooned up to 220 again the past two weeks.
Ah, well, 20 more bike rides and I'll work that off (whew).
Made my 5,000 (plus) miles for the year with a few more to come.

23 miles Friday afternoon/evening to tweak a friction shifter for the front derailer (got tired of trying to fix the balky old Rapidfire thumbie). Temp got down into the 30s, but the overcast day gave way to a lovely sunset. My toes were numb by the time I got home but felt warm otherwise.

Haven't posted my rides in a few days. Have company (HawkOwl) down from Alaska and he came down here to ride. Tuesday was a bust because he was going to ride my wife's trike but it didn't fit him and it was very uncomfortable for him. On Wednesday, we drove up to Floral City, along the Withlacoochee Trail, so he could rent a trike to ride. Rode the trail from Floral City south to Ridge Manor and back for 35 miles. On Thursday, we returned to Floral City and rode north to Hernando and back for 27 miles. I had the wife's trike that day so it made for a very nice ride.

HawkOwl took this morning off so I went and rode with my buddy Steve at the usual place. Very cold and very windy 50 mile ride.

A good but frustrating, 29 mile ride this morning. Got out late so by the time I was ready to ride, the winds were already brutal and they didn't get any better. Picked up a slow leak in my rear tube, losing around 5# every 7-8 miles. Checked the tire and couldn't find anything that may cause it. Will have a closer look tomorrow. And to top it off, it started to drizzle so I decided I was done for the day. No ride tomorrow so I'm hoping that Tuesday's ride will produce better results.

Boo-koo rain Saturday, so no ride. 20.4 miles (32.8k) today on a freshly cleaned, waxed and lubed Tarmac SL3, and a half hour cleaning mud n' grit off after the ride. The Roubaix is back in the shop (the front derailleur hanger repair didn't hold), should get it back later in the week.

Rode 20 miles today. Not to bad weather wise at 28 degrees and a breeze. Layered up and was on my way to the bike trails.

17.7 miles (28.5k) on my fav Tarmac SL. (Actually all 4bikes are my fav when I'm riding them.) Was warmer by 10° than predicted so I was a little too layered, but mostly comfy. Nice, cool, sunshiny, upper 40s day.

Tried to, but too slippery with all the snow we got last night and today. Ice under the snow. I had to get off my ATB and lock it and walk to work. Five blocks. No complaints.

This morning, at the Y--15 min./4.8 miles on the stationary bike. No, that's not much, but that's after 30:39 on the stair mill, thank you very much! (I often call the stair mill the "scare mill", or our medieval torture device.)

Just back from a 75 miler. Weather was foggy this AM but cleared up just in time for the beginning of the ride. The group ride was 40+ miles and since my new shoulder is only 9 weeks old I really wasn't sure how long I would be able to hang on to the back. Sucking wheels with extraordinary finesse I held in there the entire ride.

40 very nice miles this morning in some excellent Florida weather. Would have been much better if I didn't have this darn chest cold.

I had not ridden in 12 days due to travel and weather, and only 1 ride in the past 18 days.Tuesday was gonna be bad, so I got out Monday for a slow and easy 24 miles.
Turned out to be slow and HARD !
I always say, There are no easy rides and hard rides....there's only fast rides and slow rides...they're ALL hard!

15.5 miles (24.9k) on a gloomy Tuesday. Rain later today, high winds tomorrow, rain and wind Thursday, really cold and windy Friday. Saturday sez 19° at 9AM, but lite wind. I might not be able to ride (Polar Bear Ride) until Sat. Fortunately I'm over the 5,000 mile mark for the year.

19 miles Tuesday evening to try some new Merrell cycling/walking shoes. I think they'll do. Stiff enough soles to transfer power more efficiently, still flexible enough to walk in. The reflective bits are a nice touch for nighttime visibility.

15.5 miles (24.9k) today fighting a headwind. The wind tends to swirl in vortexes here so it was headwind going and coming. Rain tomorrow, snow Friday, super cold Saturday, but I still might get a ride in the morning (maybe a maybe). Die Hard (Old) Cyclist.
