Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Looks like a building permit would be needed for that bad boy.

Bike repair stand came in yesterday while I was building my daughter mansion.

Up to this point I have been using the bike rack, and attaching it to the mini van when I need to make repairs. It worked, but was a pain in the ass, and required a lot of bending over.

Was gunna ride this morning, but was beat from yesterday. Hopefully I’ll get a ride in this afternoon.

I think it was poorly done overall. It was never riveting, it never grabbed you. It could have been much better done.

It looks like the curfew paused most of the nonsense. I haven't seen anything about looting last night.

I think it did a pretty good job showing both the good and bad Lance. Good to see cycling on the big network and I had forgotten a lot of that stuff. My problems were more with production and storytelling.

Lance is still really conflicted about what he did. Eight years down the road and he still can't articulate coherent answers.

Kudos.

I wonder if, in the case of a tie, the premium member gets the win??

We had a bunch yesterday afternoon into the night. Curfew was moved up from 8 to 6. Groups in some areas where using social media to communicate about areas that police were not protecting. It was akin to Whack-a-Mole. Show up to protect one shopping center/big-box store and people would hit another. Heard one report that a group was prying off the boarding at a Target. National Guard showed up around 1 a.m. and was guarding City Hall this morning. All city offices are closed for today, but they did pick up recycling. Only two days late.

I missed the 2-part Lance show. Where can I find the Cliff's notes?

I am guessing the short version is he is seeking some redemption in the public eye but is still a French shower.

Fire in the ‘hood. Seems to be out, but didn’t get all the windows shut in time. House smells a tad smokey.

From Georgia-Mae's breeder, so I'll be Wichita-bound on the 28th. We're not getting any younger, but I think we can go the puppy route one more time.

I didn't get that. I watched both parts and I don't see what he had to gain and he referred to himself in derogatory terms several times. He admitted things he did to people were horrible.
It's on demand on ESPN 30 for 30 if you have such a service.

New Shoe Day. 7 days for shipping from Italy. I bought a helmet the same day from a shop in California, and it still hasn't shipped.

Hopefully not Jenson. They usually seem to get stuff boxed up in no time.
