That's how Armor All eventually rots out the rubber rubber and vinyl trim on cars.....
If you ever pause or stop applying it regularly, the vinyl snd rubber just starts cracking up and drying really quick because the silicone had displaced all the plasticizers and UV inhibitors from the materials.

yep- but I did have a ‘79 Datsun that I sold 12 years later and the dash was intact. Armor all about every two months, but was married to that periodic maintenance.

that was a PVC dash- at the 9 year mark I learned about silicone in that product and what was happening in a plastics engineering and processes class.

silicone is just NOT a good chemical for leather, period.

I think mine was made in 1996. At least that is what some discussion here on date stamps has led me to believe.
