Centurion Expert Ironman vs Panasonic DX 5000

I'm wondering how these 2 models compare. I've heard that Panasonic
made the frames for the Ironman but don't know if it's true.

I believe Panasonic made the Turbo in 83 and 84 but not the IM.

Info about the various frame makers is buried in the two major threads about the Centurion Ironman. There were a few frame makers involved, if I'm recalling correctly.

Sounds comparable to Vivitar, the photographic gadget company, which created the specifications for their Series 1 lenses but didn't actually build the lenses. They contracted out the lens manufacturing to Kino and a few other makers over the years. As those lenses achieved cult classic status fans have attempted to document the histories of each Series 1 lens on various websites, based primarily on serial numbers and info gleaned from industry insiders.

The thing about Robbie Tunes is that he owned just about every brand of bike at one time or other and so when he compared them to the Ironman it wasn't just "heresy".
Here's another "heresy", the Ironman expert frame differs slightly from the master and not just in components.
I owned a panasonic back in the day and they are absolutely nice bikes and the DX5000 seems to match up well to the Ironman on paper...and if the Ironman Expert doesn't the Ironman Master surely will.
