Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Just finished putting it together for the lady-friend, but I'll be stealing it regularly.

Not at all! That's a fine-looking alternative to the celeste orthodoxy. Seriously, that's a very fine-looking bike.

Hey, if you don't like it, I'd be glad to take it off your hands.

Bianchi Sempre. I built up the frameset with SRAM Red and FSA cranks. When I put my Nuevation tubies on, she weighed in at 15 lbs 1 oz with pedals and cages.

Wow! Found a thread that I 'haven't' posted a pic of my Bianchi on yet. Fixing that oversight now.

I just finished this one. This is my '81-'82 Campione del Mondo. It was missing a few parts (brakes, levers, seat, post, cables, etc.), so I put it together as closely as I could to what might have been stock. I just used Campy bits that I could afford. No Super Record brakes or levers and no pantographed "B" seatpost (sorry). The wheels were built with the original campy hubs and newer Mavic rims by Steve Gravenites. It's very nice to ride.
