Branding on Campy Brifters

I personally hate the writing Campagnolo puts on their brifters. I prefer simply scroll work and the classic campy emblem. That being said, I have never owned any of their products with writing on it (though I am currently looking to upgrade downtube shifters to Ergo brifters). So I have a question for those who do. I have noticed on some used ergos that the writing has worn off. So, do you think it would be easy to purposely remove this writing? I would want to take off the writing on both the shift lever, as well as the black area above the lever.

Yeah, I know it's a strange question...and seemingly an inconsequential concern, seeing as how it does not affect riding. I am not always concerned with such things, but my new bike is sort of a passion project that considers both function and form.
