I've never written 'F'in' before. I'll have to work on my shorthand curse words. I thought both bikes were priced decently in their original ads. It is frustrating to see them marked up so much in the same (more or less) local market.
I would be mad if I sold one of my bikes to a guy that gave me the speech.."I love it, can't wait to ride it. It's my dream bike...ect." only to see it listed for more than double a few days later.

Facebook Marketplace has a new heading "From Highly Rated Sellers" which is nice since it sorts out the flippers, we prefer to buy bikes from people with no ratings

Last few years I was still selling off bikes this late in the fall. No bites now and I keep seeing bikes for sub-$200 that a year ago would have been nearer to $500.
I'm not stressed by it as I am happy keeping what I have and one day prices will probably rise again.
I doubt we'll see $1000 bikes for sub-$200 but there are some crazy prices this fall, waiting to see what the winter brings.
I am merely suggesting that anyone looking for a great deal should be ready now.

Things have slowed a lot here as well, despite the unseasonably warm autumn. Not seeing exactly "crazy" prices, but definitely lower than this time last year.
