We have lived in the same single-story house for 41 years, and scrimped to pay off the mortgage 30 years ago. The only upsizing we ever did was to add a new garage and convert the original into a "bonus room" a couple of years after our second son was born. With 1370 sq. ft. of living space plus bonus room, which is now wife's art and ballet studio / my music studio, all on one level, the house continues to fit our needs well. I don't currently plan to move until the coroner carries me out. We love the neighborhood and the climate, and both sons' families live within a 5-mile radius.

Who would move away from Encinitas?! Let’s be the vintage CATs on the BWR. I’m in Redondo but the drive to SanMarcos for the BWR is always worth it.
