Saw this one. It is a conglomeration of rusted parts and frame (especially front fork chrome), but has some interesting rusty pieces.

It looks Raleigh-ish, but Motobecane, Gitane, Peugeot also came to mind.

Quite the mix of bits. Simplex dropouts point to France rather than Raleigh. Feels Peugeot-ish. What does the bottom bracket show? Head lugs might clarify whether it’s a Motobecane or not. Looks to be a decent frame….

Its on EBay and no picture of the bottom bracket unfortunately. Wanting $200 OBO plus $20 shipping.

Not really too interested in it...but the Brooks and Mafac stuff is cool.

appears it may have begun life as a Peugeot PX-10E circa 1970

original fittings yet in residence: headset, stem, bar, brakes, saddle & possibly downtube cable guide

Looks like the Simplex derailleur hanger has been cut off.

the MAEDA mounting plate employed here drops the gear mech's jockey pulley down six mm from what it would be with a Campag, for example

Interesting. PX10. Didn’t think it was up at that level...

should you have access to the cycle you may discover its hardwood plug to be yet at its billet inside the steerer's austral terminus

Its about 500 miles away. I actually thought it was a badly repainted Raleigh at first, but a lot of random parts.

Peugeot PX10 should appeal to someone in the sunshine state...
