140 OLD Phil Wood
Was helping a homeless man out. He had an old motobecane with mismatched wheels. The rear was a 27 and I had no tires for that so he got what I had a tire for. A 700 wheel. I knew it was 40 spoke but thats all.
I get it home and clean the crust off and it's a super champion eyeletted rim and stainless spokes with a 140 OLD flip flop hub (track?)
140 is tandem? so it's a flip flop for a tandem or were there tack bikes that used 140 spacing?
It's got freewheel threading on both sides of the hub

Now I can toss it into the scrap pile in clear conscience. It isn't anything special.

If it's actually a 48h Phil Wood hub, you might want to pull and keep it. I don't think they are that common, and someone else might need/want it.

140 mm = older tandem OLD.
Left-side threading = attachment for Arai drum brake typically used on tandems.
Larger spoke count and Phil on shell = might want to see if others are interested.
