Fifty miles, Cheyenne Ride for Sight. Wanted the metric century, but the head wind did me in.

Lodgepole Creek on Horse Creek Road NW of Cheyenne. Haze is from area wild fires.

Today was bike maintenance and repair day, so I only rode up and down the block a couple of times to check the bikes.

48 miles in the rain. Luckily, it wasn't heavy and there was no wind. I need to put some Rain-X on my glasses. I don't plan my rides ahead of time but use mapmyride to find out how far I went after I get home. batteries been dead on cyclocomputer for years; I just have an old flip phone. Makes the journey more interesting.

c-note mostly boogieing amongst various bike paths in the los angeles/orange county socal area.
maddening, yet challenging route finding on occasion.

33km at lunch today. Got caught in a downpour about halfway, so came home pretty much drenched. At least I was riding my bike with the Brooks C15 all weather saddle and not the one with the B17 leather saddle. 😁

kinda surprised me too. if i doubled back over some of the flatter stretches, likely could have done under 1000 feet. a super flat ride wasn’t the goal…it just morphed into that.

After getting drenched during yesterday's ride, at least Mother Nature took pity on me today - it rained on the south end of the my route when I was at the north end, then the rain at the south end stopped for long enough for me to get home before it started pouring again. Pretty much perfect timing today.
