Glad you have shoes you like. I have difficulty spending much for shoes, my limit is around $50. Here are my current shoes, $45 Pretty Hi-tech, eh?

However, I had the same attitude about bicycles, I didn't think anything over $1,000 was going to do me any good. I ended up getting a nice bike and have been quite pleased and realized I was wrong all these years. Who knows, maybe shoes are next??

Congratulations on yours, they look nice.

I would tell you to check your sensors but that experience with the bike has me even wondering where I will end up.

OCP?

and i can tell you Thomson....the shoes are WAY more comfy than my 80 dollar road shoes were....better power transfer, no hot spots so far...very comfy right out of the box...

there are 3 big things i believe in spending really good money on....Shoes, a seat and shorts/bibs...those are the parts that can make or break a ride for me.

The thing is crashy, I don't know that I have a problem with my shoes. If my feet hurt or something I would address it. For now I am ok with my "bowling" shoes.

It doesn't need to be functional. At first it was the bike, then you want your name on the seatpost, and next you know shoe colors to match the bike!

i dunno, man... $186 is a lot for one shoe, even if it's an s-works.

i am somewhat envious of people with smaller/normal sized feet. do you know how hard it is to find shoes that arent for basketball in a size 16? let alone bike shoes in the euro equivalent to a size 16?

Too small and it can also be a problem. I had difficulty trying to find US 7.5 sized running shoes. All the regular places have only US 8 and up, and only 1 local store that I find has them in my size; and I have to pay MSRP too.

the problem with those is that they don't work with the "look" style cleats...they are only spd compatible.
