Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Yes. In the past year, she mellowed on the issue. I never got why it was a hot button for her in the first place.

If I did have a wedding you'd all be invited. What a hoot that would be.

When the wife and I eloped, my new mother-in-law was very cool about it. She basically said, "You saved me the cost of a wedding, I'll send you wherever you want to go on your honeymoon." It was way decent of her.

We were planning on going to the courthouse and BBQ ing a brisket. MY parents insisted on throwing us a wedding. We told my mom, "ok, but don't ask us for any help, we will show up". We had a lot of fun.

Venti Pike and an apple fritter.

There's whiskey in the cupboard, just in case.
