Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I still need to get a set for my Michigan winter bike. Was thinking studded tires, but have any suggestions? The Conti ones (studded and non-studded) seemed quite nice.

For a road bike? I wouldnt bother , put the money towards a trainer/rollers. I get 1 or 2 rides in a week for most of the winter, no special tires. If you have a cross bike.....maybe that would be worth it,I dunno.

I have a homemade studded front MTB tire (Mr. Tuffy + short screws) on a dedicated wheel, only break it out when snow/ice are for-sure.

The Diamondback has room for studs in its fork maybe I'll rig up a studded road or CX tire this year.

Tell me about it. Cold front just moved in, so I had to put on lots of clothes for my afternoon jaunt.

See a show, enjoy the nightlife, see/ride Red Rocks and Mt Charleston, gamble a little, get hitched.

What do you get when you add a 50 Cent song to a Jehovah's Witness video, for the deaf, about the perils of wanking? This -

(NSFW - language and uh, expressions)
