We love you Pcad. Rest well, buddy.

Has coddling tendencies.
In Greece, memorial edifices like this alongside roadways are a common sight.

Strange that his name has rolled around in my head the past couple weeks. So sorry and so unfair. Thoughts and prayers to his family. May the road rise up to meet your wheels--

Just wondering what was the extent of his injuries. The bike doesn't look to have a huge damage on the video. Condolences to the nearest and dearest.

I woke up to a text about it when the news broke. Like everyone else I spent tons of time trading quips with Peter both here and on Facebook. I had spoken to him over the phone as well. Like most others I liked him a lot.
It's taken a few days for me to get out here and post.
Having lost my mother in the last month my heart tends to go out to his daughter most when I think about him. I'm hoping that if there is good after this thing we call life that for him it's climbing in Greece and hanging with his parents he missed so greatly.
Thanks pcad. Tailwinds.

Haven’t been here in 3 years. We were facebook friends and can’t believe we lost PCAD. Rest easy Peter Cotsis. Hopefully the driver will be held accountable.

Wow, I hate stories like this. I also enjoyed his posts and to see him die like this hits close to home. I guess he would say that if he had to go, then that’s the way it should happen.
hard to understand how it happened. Driver must not have been paying attention.

Just Wow....
I road with his Global Locate partner in crime Don here in FL on a group ride and had bantered with Pcad many times - could not have been nicer. Cycling brought me back me from many an issue, and I always appreciated PCAD's quick wit, and writing style. Lets not forget his love of his bikesdirect Ti mountain bike, BD owes him for that. I hate mountain bikes and I almost bought one!
Don - if you are or a friend of his read this, please message me. I never met Pcad, but as a father and spouse, my sincere condolences.

I didn’t meet him, but just wanted to pay my respects to someone that was universally admired and obviously one hell of a rider. He was just a few weeks older than me.

Some of his favorite topics, interests and Pcadisms as part of this BINGO card. Hey, to get to almost 100K posts, you can either talk about many things, or just a handful of things, over and over again. He would say repetition is necessary for weenie roadies. It's the only way we are able to learn. And who can argue with that? Actually, he could, and often did, argue with himself.
It's been years away from BF for me, but somehow I came back here to post and saw this awful news. Honestly 2020 can just GTFO.
RIP PCad - you always brought a smile to my face, spending too many hours round here.

So sad to hear this. Like many others who have posted here, I visited after quite a while after a friend told me about this. I enjoyed his posts. Cant imagine BF without him.

Oh No. My chest tightened up reading this. All of us are richer for him sharing his passion for cycling and for his presence here. I appreciate the color he brought to the forum. He was funny, feisty, smart and doggedly determined. I would have loved to have known him. This makes me sad and it makes me angry.

What the phoque? Argh....&!@$#!...how is this possible? He seemed larger than life on this forum.
Poor driver. Are there any dermatologists on BF who will be able to recommend the right medicinal cream for treating his wrist after the investigation and judiciary proceedings (if it even comes to that) are completed?

Wow, I also joined back in 2004 or 2005, can't remember. I really enjoyed his perspective and "discuss" points. I was thinking about how I have not seen him here in many moons. How did he die?
