I've been thinking about getting a splatter framebag for my 92 stumper too, did you see the JPak one?
Excellent work here, looking forward to the front rack bag.
Sick work on the cage.

I think the Purist bottle would suit it nicely. In color=Black, it would have the "S" icon, it wouldn't visually take over the space, and it'd still allow your gold-on-purple accents to highlight the view. JMO

Now, if they had one in the same purple as your frame ...

I would reach out to Gil at Retro Decals gil@retrodecals.co.uk

i had mine done locally just because the way things worked out. It was a little painful but whatever. Gil has a great reputation and would help you out for sure.

The Maxxis DTHs are really good tires. I have them on my Sj; they soak up road bumps & potholes, but also do great on easy & intermediate singletrack.

I've got a slingshot stem like yours, but no handlebars. What are those bars?

hmm I’m not sure as I got them off an older bike from a guy that hits up police auctions. They are a townie style bar.you can see them better on a thread I started called Slingshot Stems

Evening ride

An absolute joy to ride this bike. Had to change out the bullmoose bars as my wife rides this one when we go out togetand the higher rise in the bars are more comfortable for her. Can’t argue as they are more comfy for me as well. We’ll just let her think about the sacrifice I have made for her though 😉

victorm , I love it!! I have a front rack very similar to yours and I need to know how you installed it. Did you bend the bar in the back? I have searched the 'net round, and have been unable to find installation instructions of any kind.

Hey Korina the front rack took a a little stretch apart and down to get on the canti post but nothing to the extent of distorting it. I also had to drill the fork hole a bit larger to accommodate the “built in” one on the rack.

You are an exceptional artist. The bash guard and water bottle cage exemplify it. Really amazing stuff.

I am going to try to resurrect my artistic skill-less-ness this summer and plenty of inspiration and ideas here.

Obviously the machining is not in my lane...
