That bike has some nice wheels. Wolber Model 58 rims, stainless spokes, and Suntour sealed hubs. They take a special wrench but I'm pretty sure they are cartridge bearing hubs. I have a couple pairs of wheels with identical looking hubs to these and they have cartridge bearings and are very nice. You can usually find the required wrench (Suntour TA-260) on ebay. There are some reproductions available now.
Nice Sugino crank. The frame kind of looks like it has been chromed before painting, at least on the rear triangle. A top quality vintage touring bike.

They were indeed chromed, I think at least from 84-88.

You know, after looking at an earlier post about a 21" '84 Voyageur SP, https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-v...yageur-sp.html, I think this may actually be a 22". Compare the head tube space between the top & down tube, where the pump peg is, to the 21" in the link. Maybe @LBCwanabe can confirm. I realize, according to the specs posted above, that 22" was only offered in '85, and the components on this bike match up to the '84 specs, but it sure looks more like a 22". They were measured center to top.

I am very impressed that you were able to spot this. I confirm the seat tube is 22” center to top. Also, top tube is about 21.75” center to center

I ride am '85 Voyageur SP, 25" frame, same color and groupo. They are truly exceptional touring bicycles. The frame design formed the basis for the Surly LHT. Great price on a superb ride.

That’s interesting, is this written about anywhere?
