Sealant Question
I was wondering. When a tire is punctured, the sealant seals the hole when it is exposed to air. This is what I don't understand. What about the air inside of the tire?

The latex has a volatile stabilizer. It’s at full “humidity” inside the tire but outside the tire it’s evaporating and kicking off the coagulation. In home brew it’s ammonia, in factory sealant it’s something else.
This is one reason sealant dries out. Every time you air up the tire the stabilizer is more depleted
