Help with 1995 Trek 800 mountain chain size
A co worker is restoring his old Trek and needs help with what size chain it would need. I told him i would post this and ask for some help. I am not too familiar with those bikes. Thanks !!!

The specs for the bike* list a 1/2 x 3/32" chain. Look for something that says 7 speed.

According to the Trek catalog (https://www.vintage-trek.com/images/trek/95/Trek95.pdf), the 800 has 21 speeds (3 x 7) and hence can use any 7/8 speed chains e.g., KMC Z-51 chain (https://www.amazon.com/KMC-Bicycle-C...f_rd_i=3404781).
