Keep the Hope Alive Cinelli

I was second in line for this Cinelli and had almost given up hope when my phone rang! 2004 i think, a few paint chips but otherwise very nice shape.

Good job Garry. I sold an 87 frameset last year for $950 Cad. You got a hell of a deal.

Very nice. I would've haggled $20 off because of that saddle. Interesting that they were still chroming the stays in 2004, or was a technique developed that isn't horrible for the environment?

If I'm not mistaken Ace Cycles closed sometime ago. Only found out on the tail end so I didn't get a chance to see what vintage bikes or frames they had other than I think a Benotto.

Ace was a fixture in Vancouver for decades, and sponsored many rides and riders, including my cousin. I have a Danish SCO that was retailed there in 1972. Ace died a few years ago and his inventory was sold off to various collectors. BTW Garry, let me know if you want to move that unit south to my garage in Duncan.

Nice score! And what good fortune - each of the times I've been second in line I've gotten the 'He bought it' text.
