FS: Trek 670 F&F
I have been cleaning up the bikes I bought in the 1980's when I was a bit taller. My 670 which is one I bought direct from Trek in 1985 while working in a dealership is one of those too tall bikes for me to ride. The size is 57cm and uses standard Reynolds tube parts: 27.2 post and English threaded bottom bracket. I will provide the seat tube bolt for it and drop out adjustors. It had some paint damage so I had it powder-coated in the team red color that the Trek team bikes had that year. I am asking $300 for the frame and fork. Pics below:
frame and fork back from the PC folks
detail of the head tube
detail of the fork crown and races
the original chrome bits were covered before coating
detail of the serial number
This is a one owner bike and has been ridden maybe three thousand miles before the re-painting. PM me if interested

Wow, that's beautiful, and with single-owner magic. Where was it powder coated? It's a very nice job, and I love the color.
I'm not in the market for a new frame; just gushing.

Noob,
I have been using these guys for about two and a half years it is; Pro Kote Indy. They are hot rod guys and couldn't find some one to do the work they wanted so they started up themselves. Out of about ten frames they have done for me there has been zero problems and the finish is always above par. I used to do Dupont Imrom but this is much better in turn around and finish. I can't see going back at this point. Smiles, MH

Dawg,
I am not sure of the process they use but they get the frames this way on everything I take in. I tell Dawn I would like the serial number non-coated and that I want the shift post non coated. They have done enough for me that they tape off the headset race and keep the chrome parts chrome. After all this time with them I have yet to be disappointed. If I drop off bottle cages or other small parts they do it as part of the job and get everything the same color.
