Tom, My daughter has a mid '90s Rincon in Mother of Pearl white that I'll try to remember to take a photo of. I wonder how many have a Giant, but aren't aware they do as so many Giants were rebranded.

No pics, but my gateway bike into C&V was a Giant speeder, in a wonderful 90's teal/seafoam green fade with shimano SIS and Litetec hubs and brakes - not exactly high end but a very enjoyable bike nonetheless.

Pictures will be forthcoming...

I currently have 3 Giants in house; two 1989 Giant Excursions and one 1989/90 Giant Iguana. The Excursions were a Euro spec "trekking" bike, fully equipped with fenders, racks, lighting system, 21 speed drive train (Deore LX) and flat bars. They were only sold in the US for a couple of years. The Iguana was a mid level rigid MTB. Mine has been converted to expedition use. I have had a couple of Giant built Schwinns come through. The last was a small frame 3 speed Collegiate from 1984, it went to a new home after a general cleaning.

Stop wrinkling your noses. It's a Giant, 15 years old....has the oddest riding "sounds" of anything I've been on.

1997 ATX970. Lots of upgrades, crappy tires and saddle installed before I tried to sell it. I couldn't even get $200 for it (unbelievable), so I am keeping it. This bike rips!

My 1993 ATX 780. After replacing the recalled fork with a Surly Troll, it pretty much morphed into the best bike ever. And then I sold it to a friend for some reason... But she decided she wanted a larger frame, so now I've got the frameset back, awaiting for me to decide how to build it up.

I have two. I'm the second owner of this '93 Prodigy, which I've owned and ridden in 3 different countries since 1996, including 6 years in Belize, and now 5 and counting in México. Currently it's my daily rider/city bike.

And this 92 Yukon, which I bought as a frame set from a co-op last summer. Haven't decided what, exactly to do with it yet, but it sure is fun to ride. Guess that's what I'll do with it. Ride it.

Evidence that the sound of a rider's, er, outgassing reverberates differently off of CF than off of vintage steel . . . .

Underappreciated English band from the early-mid 1970s. Never made it big, but were clearly a major inspiration for Genesis, Yes, ELP and others. Absolutely worth checking out.

Well its not entirely mine, a family bike kept at a cottage, but I think I've put many more miles on the thing than anyone else and am the only one whos used it in years, so I think of it as mine. Its a good bike, nice for a trip to the store etc.

We still have a NOS ATX like this in the same color at the shop I work at, along with a few NOS frames.

Glenn

NOS 980 Cadex, we have 2 frame sets left,

Here are a couple of pictures of mine. I have two Excursions this one has had drop bars and brifters installed for the time being. The Iguana has had some serious updates since this picture was taken, when I find the updated photo I will upload it.
