Xd driver help

Does anyone know where to find a XD driver for WTB I23 wheels? I have 11 speed SRAM Apex on my Warbird and want to run SRAM Eagle.

You need to know what your hub is, not your rim.

All I know from Salsas website is that they are WTB hubs.

You should confirm it is indeed a WTB hub before purchasing
https://www.wtb.com/products/replacement-hub-parts

Salsa often uses Formula hubs. The wheels I got with a Salsa back in 2017 had Formula hubs and the freehub wasn't interchangeable.

Check the WTB website to see if this is your hub. You might be able to get it from them.

Can XD cassettes fit on XDR freehubs? I didn’t think so, but I may be wrong.

You can put an XD cassette on an XDR driver with a 1.85 mm spacer. There is a good chance that the Warbird has a road hub and would then need an XDR driver,

All, I got a answer on this one. The hub is the WTB Serra, so unfortunately no upgrade to XDR is possible without upgrading the wheels.

What driver body do you currently have? Is it a shimano HG? If so, you can still run an SRAM Eagle cassette (50-11). Thats what Ive done on my Salsa Cutthroat.

I have the HG driver body. Thought about running the NX 11-50 cassette too. See you got the Gx derailleur, what shifter are you using? Are you running a special version of the Gx derailleur? Looks like your Rival derailleur has a rear cable exit too, did you have to do anything special to get it to work?

Looked into this one a lot since the difference in low gear is small for a 11-50 vs a 11-52 cassette. Probably not worth all the extra $$ for the 11-52.

Looks like you've been running this kit for a while, almost a year. Are you still happy with the shift quality? Is it as good as stock?

Yes. As good or better than stock. I have 650 miles on this setup and I’m very happy with it.
