I saw an update on their kickstarter and it looks like the ship may have finally docked here in LA on 9 June, but who knows?

Sometimes when switching between my road bikes and my drop-bar MTB conversion, I find myself wishing that the latter had more road-like geometry instead of its 70° or 71° head tube. On the other hand, a John Clay custom isn't in the budget for everyone, so one of these XOXO's would be a nice alternative.
Is the tire clearance limitation at the top of the fork crown/seat stay bridge, or somewhere else?

I'd say cut them a little slack. I don't have a dog in this fight, but shipping for everything bigger than a lunchbox has been beyond the pale. My friends ordered their dishwasher almost 8 months ago and still haven't received. We waited 6 months for a new fridge before it arrived. I get Rivendell's email updates, and they are frequently posting info about frame shipments at every step, and it's slow, and the shipping companies are not always transparent -- no way around that. At the end, you'll be happy that you funded a cool project, and you'll have a bike you love. I'm sure the folks at Handsome are just as frustrated as you are that they are waiting, waiting, waiting to fulfill their orders. So, a little virtuous patience...

The Handsome website says complete bike delivery in July, which is any day now! And, to be fair, I get a pretty quick reply when I contact Jesse via text...sometimes it takes a follow up, but I always get a response.

I hate that they apparently have a 6-cm purple frame available. I don't need one but I want one. Y'all enjoy yours and make sure to share your thoughts once they arrive.

that purple really does look right. I wonder what the final number count of each color is? Every time I look at the photos of the frames side by side it is hard to really pick a favorite color.

I’m thinking of removing the headbadge and covering the downtube graphic with Bridgestone stickers, both the official B on the head like the original and “BRIDGESTONE” down the tube. I’d leave the XOXO to confirm it’s a fake. Is that trashy of me? I honestly hate the headtube badge and the new styling of “HANDSOME” on the downtube.

If you want a Bridgestone, buy a Bridgestone. That seems like a lot of effort to claim its something it isnt, and unless you are awesome with paint and decals, it will look like an obvious kludge job.

buying a Bridgestone XO1 is all but impossible. Decals are easy. I already have them, actually. Some dude on eBay sells them and I just want to cover the "handsome" logo on the down tube and replace the ugly head badge. both are very easily done.
