1x11 26" Wheel Gearing?
Ordering my cassette and chain ring. Seems Everyone on 1x11 is riding 650b or 700c wheels. Anyone have any thoughts on gearing for a 26" wheeled bike?

I would use Bicycle Gear Calculator to compare how the wheel size affects your gearing.

If you're going 1X
I've had good luck with a 32 up front & an 11-46 out back. Although we have some pretty steep hills here.
My friend went with a 11-42 & he suffered a bit more on the climbs.

Thinking only in terms of ratios, "29ers" have from 28t (26er fat bike) to 36t (29er xc bike). 11 speed trail bikes that had a 42t rear granny were 30-32t in the front, usually. You need to move one shift up from there for your bike style. So you are looking for 32t to 40t, depending if you want to rescue the low end and spin out, or rescue the top end and maybe not have that sub-20" granny gear
If it's a full suspension, it might be worth the effort to see if it's in BikeChecker and find the ring size that's best for your anti squat.

I run a 1x11 on my 26” mtb.
32 x 11-46. It is as low as I need it to go and I ride some pretty steep stuff.
But that is me. Gearing needs vary by individual. What is your current low gear, and how does that work for you?

i have a 39 x11-42 on my vintage mountain bike and it only 8speed rear cog. it is is the Box4 8speed.. it shifts really well of course it replaced a 1993 XT drivetrain set up so my comparison to anything modern is not all that great.
photo for kicks.
