Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Back to New York City !

I've had my old Zipp2001 single speed in the bike cave all winter. I had given it to my youngest son over a year ago for him to enjoy. Well, he was up late last year with the Zipp and wanted me to check it out because he was getting a weird feel. Just a bolt in the suspension system had come loose so as that was easy to fix, I decided to upgrade a few things while it was with me. He doesn't know what I've done but I'm sure he won't mind. I believe he's coming up for Easter and maybe he'll take her back home so he can get back to tearing up the streets of New York City with her.
