Be glad to add my one and only Alan to this new thread:

1985 Record Carbonio.
My best riding/handling bike so far, so count me in as an Alan believer.

I am an ALAN fan but the bicycles are not designed for a guy my size. Here is the ALANI built up a few years ago...

It's new but the uno-248 comes in 25.0 and it's pretty innocuous.

Came to me with an all over coat of grey spray paint . Was originally black annodised tubing but was seriously worn underneath all the grey spray .
Had what I thought was a nice unfluted 25mm seat post . Then I pulled it from frame and some wonk had cut about 2 inches off it . (luckily I had a spare )
It is a record ? frame with the oval top tube . On the small side for me but still a fun project .

There seems no 'Show us your Alan' thread around here. There are some threads but (typically!) the most successful are the one about re-branded Alans and the ones about cracked lugs.
Bein' a Alan-lover that really hurts ... the screwed and glued bikes deserve more than that.
I'd like to see pictures of Alans and discussions about the great or terrible flex, welded or not welded lugs, wrapped, painted or bare frames, Campa, Shimano, Mavic or otherwise equiped.
So, show us your Alan! Gather them, bring them together, re-branded or not, cracked or not, alu or not, carbonio or not. Leave the steel ones out, they don't exist.
I got some so I will post them here too, calm and easy, givin' you all the opportunity to post them and also keepin' this thread alive, at least for a while.

Death fork? Naaaah!!

Don't let the graphics fool you, it's really an Alan Record.

It came to me full Dura Ace except for the Campy SR headset. I rebuilt the 7400 hub with a 7403 freehub body to run HG cassettes. Doesn't shimmy on fast descents
like my Vitus 979 does, rides a little stiffer as well.

Well,
When this was given to me, it looked like …

Before … 1986 Alan Record Carbonio …
I sort of tarted it up some …

Finished 1986 Alan Record Carbonio … The Flexible Flyer

A round hole in the rear fork end and no cableguides on the top tube, it's a Competition from 1976/1977. Probably there's a number engraved right under the lug on the seattube, that's more exactly.

A Frera re-branded Alan, a Competition from 1972/1973.

First generation Alan, check the rear dropout.

Double re-brand: a Guerciotti Alan CX bike, branded as a 'Mathieu Schryvers'. As found:

An 'Azzuri' Alan donna. Waiting for mrs non-fixie to start liking pink or for me to gather the courage to remove the paint and put on a set of Alan decals. Neither will be happening anytime soon, I'm afraid. As found:

My only Alan that actually got ridden so far: a Bontekoe-branded Competizione. First test ride, after a quick clean, lube and some adjustments:

Mine wasn't that flexy and descended very well, but I remember the way that fork started shuddering when I pulled the brake lever at speed, almost scary. The bike cleaned up nicely when I got it, clearly showing what UV light will do the bright blue anodisation, though. Was a tad too small so I didn't keep it.

Very nice Super Record. I have the idea there were light blue and darker blue anodized frames. But true, UVlight has its effects. I don't have a problem with shuddering forks on Alan roadbikes but maybe I'm not that fast.

OK, so I guess it will stay pink ...

For the uninitiated: Jan van Katwijk is one of three Dutch brothers who were professional riders during the 1970's.

This is my 11/1985 built ALAN. I know that date is correct 'cause it is stamped on the tubing below the seat cluster.
It came equipped all Campy friction. Within just a month or so, the components were completely obsolete.
This bike was just given to me a couple years ago. It's now running its original wheels with tubulars tires.
It's only a tad flexy. It will drop a rear cog on a stiff climb, unless I keep the shifter boss screws really tight.
Otherwise, this is a tight, snappy rider. It's my only Italian threaded bike.
