When I lived in Syracuse many years ago (2006 ish) I drove by an accident like this on my way to work. The rail broke loose and went through the car. The woman driving was a nurse who had finished a double and was on the way home presumably fell asleep and was impaled by the guardrail.

Ugh. Internet has died at home. Looks like I’ll be trying to get it working tonight. I’ll need it to be able to work on Monday.
at least my cellphone 4G internet is working. So I haven’t completely returned to the early nineties

I took the mtb out for a cruise. I went into the equestrian trail area to try and find a way across the huge river bottom There were black clouds in the distance and when I got home I heard a woman and her dogs were killed by lightning about 25 miles from where I was.
I went out to the road and went across the dam. Here is a shot from the dam looking toward the hills. I'm going to circle to the left around this area and do a little bit of climbing.
A couple miles in I took a break at this park where I hung out as a ute.

Back on the ride I climbed up this little hill that I used to do after work.
From there you can see a little part of the dam I was on earlier.
I used to take friends over the top of that peak in the distance and down the other side to a paved road for the return trip. Really tough climbs going up there and I haven't done it in several years.
I dropped down into the next canyon and took the road out of there.

Geez - about time! Last week was the debut of Strava's video upload feature, but I haven't been able to successfully upload anything until just now. I kept getting either nothing or a server error. Yeah -a nice, smooth rollout.

A buddy of mine posted a video on one of his recent rides. Apparently, it's your problem.

Yeah, one of my guys posted a video a few days ago, too - I'm thinking that they're under-servered (is that a word?) at this point and you just have to get lucky when you submit it. Maybe fewer people will try to upload when the newness wears off. *shrug*

5:40, nearing the end of a long day. But it hasn't rained so that means I have to get up and run the weed eater for awhile. Drat!
