My brother came over and was riding the bike. He is one of those English Flipper Babies and his little arms have trouble reaching the brake. Glad to see such rapier wit still apparent here. I guess I really don't want to let it go. So pretty, so much work, I have had a couple of healthy offers two bills plus, but no.

So you’ve received offers in line with the valuations that came from previous posts…

And you said no?

Keep the bike dude. Stop guessing that you don’t really want to let it go!

I don't think the decals are available on amazon as the add promotional states.

This may be my favorite valuation thread on BF. This thread may never die given the OP's ideas about what this bike is worth.

.
...I have to ask again at this point, where are you measuring to get 23" for the frame size ?
I guess it's possible, given the long stays and slack angles, but that head tube looks pretty short for a 23" frame.

People get upset if they go to all the trouble to look at your listed bike, and it turns out to be a different size than you listed it as. Don't ask me how I know this.

The OP does not care, would not listen to any of comments or advice given. Can't spell, can't take pics, can't adjust anything on the bike. Waste of time. Don't ask me how I know this....but you know it too

you know because you're English and thanks for reminding me why I left that miserable hole for somewhere I can ride 365 days a year with people who aren't so desperate to feel superior. I have no trouble picking the bike up and running up the stairs , try putting it over your shoulder

Well, no, I am definitely not English - you may have guessed that yourself if you have bothered to look at my moniker name. But do elaborate further on stairs please, I'm bemused by where this conversation is taking place...

Infamous

Thanks for all the interest. I suggest reading the add thoroughly. Unfortunately it doesn't come with the original hubs and rims which already sold.
Knowing how interested everyone is in this project I thought I'd share a couple of rough photos that do not show it finished but on the way.

Upgraded comes with original running gear

Yep that's what it says:-
I'm going with
Front Dura Ace hub, Araya rim, Bontrager Race Lite rubber, Modelo Flash brakes front and back with levers. Campagnolo 9700 siver BD, Suntour drilled Compe V FD, STW rear Zaffiron rubber.
I will try to keep you updated 😃

Don't bother

You do say price is negotiable, value I put this bike at now, a $5.00 for the brake calipers.

I'm not sure who is enjoying this thread more: the OP or the BF posters. In any case, this may be the first valuation thread to hit 4 pages. I'm thinking it should at least get to 10.

Those lovely Modelo Flash don't fit and the same goes for both DC 500 and Shimano 600. As you can see the Exage won't work on the back. I don't want to put the Universal center pulls back on, even though they are in great shape. What would you suggest.
Try to be civil please.
