During the early '00s, I worked for Airborne bikes while they were on a hiatus from being owned by Huffy. Some of the leftover Huffy-stock in the warehouse included Royce Union titanium mtbs. They were allegedly the same as Airborne's cheapest ti frame except for having a conventional seatstay arrangement instead of the unistay. There were 5-10 of them that they sold off for $400. Built up with SRAM 3.0 and a Zoom fork. I have never seen one since or anything online about them, but that is still my dream big-box bike.

Bar Ends Forever
No, it's not a Huffy, but it is Huffy-tier. Honestly, I really enjoy riding it. So much that I plan on overhauling the bottom bracket tomorrow and getting a new chain sometime soon.
I also have a Huffy derailleur on my Fuji at the moment...

I'm diggin' that Huffy Thunder Ridge Johnny
, similar to the Superia I bought two years ago. After not having ridden for 15 years (my prior ride was a Peugeot PX-10) I picked up a Huffy Superia, a big box Chinese MTB I got for $72 assembled and out the door at KMart. You can imagine at that price point my expectations were extremely low, but after two years, routine mechanical upkeep, and several hundred miles it hasn't let me down - its somewhat crudely engineered, but it does the job and its durable. Any Huffy-bashers who simply cannot believe the durability claim should check this out:
Anyway, my experience with the Superia and viewing your own collection have inspired me to find an older, made in the USA Huffy Road bike, as I'd like to transition away from MTB. The Techtra looks cool and can apparently go past 32MPH according to another post I saw on this site. How's you're experience been with it?

I love my Techtra Lite Huffy road bike! It rides super smooth and it's quiet. I also upgraded the Thunder Ridge with a complete Shimano Deore XT package.........

Truth! I ride with people who have expensive bikes. Most of them are noisy and when riding, they are rubbing the spoke protector or making other strange noises. I am a maintenance freak and all my bikes no matter how crappy they are, run smoothly.

The frames are solid and you can easily upgrade a Huffy steel road bike with better components for a super smooth ride. Mine looked like a piece of crap when I got it..............
I knew it was an ugly bike, but the paint and frame was beautiful! The alloy rims cleaned up nice and I did some upgrades. I got alloy bars, Diacompe Aero levers, Diacompe brake calipers, replaced cables, chain, tires, saddle, and other parts and made a sweet 28lb steel road bike out of it..........
If you have a Huffy road bike and like it, upgrade to aluminum rims (27" or 700c), upgrade the bars, upgrade the brakes, and you have a pretty sweet, smooth, silent road bike.

My 1983 Pro Thunder BMX restoration cost me almost $200 but this was the same bike as my childhood bike and was worth the rebuild........
I also built a Huffy beach cruiser into an Urban Klunker and use it as my daily commuter. This was a piece of crap when I got it, but it turned out sweet after a few phases of building.........

I'm embarrassed to say that I guessed that shot could only have come from the movie "Zardoz," and am even more embarrassed to say that I paid good money to see it in the theatre when it came out.

BTW, that Huffy Throw shirt is the sweetest shirt I've seen apart from the old "2HIP: King of vert'" shirts. Had a nuclear orange Huffy MTBSO in junior high, but can't remember what became of it...

Not racing.
My daughter's Huffy, the only one we own. She's really not interested in any other bike. Suntour thumbshifters and derailleurs. Steel rims have been upgraded to aluminum seven speed since this photo. It rides pretty decent. Just heavy is all.
