This bike is.a tribute to the Raleigh heritage 3 speeds of the 40s, 50s and 60s, it’s made of old-fashioned hi-ten steel, has a sprung leather saddle, a Heron chainring and Heron etching on the stem and as you would expect - it has a Sturmey Archer 3 speed IGH!
Not to mention the classic period mudguard er fenders found on old 3 speeds. A Raleigh heritage 3 speed wouldn’t be complete without brownwall side tires.
What sets it apart from classic Raleigh 3 speeds are the modern disc brakes. Raleigh didn’t go wrong with the classic green paint scheme set on a classic 3 speed frameset.

It's really nice to see stylized chainrings with narrow crank arms on a roadster. These are quite well done in my opinion. The ugly cranks are my only complaint against the Pashley Countryman. Here, my complaint is the short mudguards. What's the point in having them at all if they're ineffective.

I agree with your observations. The most obvious drawback of this homage is the sloping top tube.
It wouldn’t have killed Raleigh to do a classic parallel top tube.
That said, the nostalgia market does have much going for it.

Very nicely executed (other than going over the top with copper plated handlebars)....question is: is it worth $850 (CAD)? That money can get you a completely restored to better than new original....

I would miss things frame lugs, embossed shifters, lack of plastic bits, classy transfers and full mud and chainguards, but for most buyers this would make a good roadster. The discs would be a real advantage for someone riding in dangerous city conditions.

You have a very nice riding bicycle approximating the appeal of those early Raleighs...
The price doesn’t break the bank and the only quibble is its made in China instead of the UK...

Since it takes 700C tires instead of the oddball 590 mm size, it simplifies maintenance.
And the three offered sizes are suitable for a wide range of intended riders...

I think it's a classy looking bike that's probably very comfortable to ride. The only thing I am missing here is dynamo lighting and I think it need longer mudguards. Other than that, pretty nice.
